FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Your questions, answered
Whether you're wondering about song selections, setup needs, or what to expect on the big day, we’re here to make the process easy, clear, and stress-free.
General
Weddings are our jam, but we also love playing for cocktail parties, proposals, intimate dinners, corporate events, and celebrations of all kinds.
We’ll need armless chairs, shade (like a 10x10 tent or umbrellas), and a flat, dry performance space. If you’re outdoors, don’t worry—we’ll guide you through what’s needed!
Not much! Our ensembles can fit in about 10 feet of space. We’re flexible and can adapt to just about any layout.
Our packages don’t include a rehearsal, but we’re happy to coordinate with your planner or officiant ahead of time to ensure everything runs smoothly. If you'd like us at the rehearsal, we can add it for an additional fee.
We typically perform acoustically, which works beautifully for most ceremonies and intimate settings. If your venue is especially large or outdoors, we can work with your planner or vendor team on a case-by-case basis to bring in amplified sound.
Booking & Logistics
We recommend booking at least 6–12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season (May–October). That said, don’t hesitate to reach out—we occasionally have last-minute availability!
Most clients spend between $2,000–$3,000, depending on ensemble size and event duration. Solo and duo packages are great for smaller gatherings, while trios and quartets suit larger celebrations.
Reach out through our contact form and we’ll get back to you with availability. Once we’ve finalized the details, we’ll send over a contract and invoice to make it official.
Yes—a 30% deposit and signed contract secures your date. The remaining balance is due by the day of the event.
Absolutely! We know that no two weddings are the same. If our standard packages don’t quite match your vision, we’re happy to work with you to create a custom option that fits your day perfectly.
Music & Repertoire
Everything from Bach to Beyoncé. We mix classical, pop, indie, jazz, and film music, and we’re always adding new favorites to our repertoire. Check out our extensive library here: Lavandula Song Library

We’re happy to accommodate special requests whenever we can. If you have a particular vision for your ensemble—whether it’s the overall look, vibe, or instrumentation (ex. some clients prefer all-women ensembles, a particular hairstyle or dress code for the artists, or an unusual instrumentation)—just let us know during booking. While availability may vary, we’ll do our best to create an experience that feels cohesive and true to your celebration.
We’ve got a trusted network of professional musicians on call. If one of us can’t make it, we’ll have a top-notch sub ready to step in!
