Our Process: What Happens After You Book Lavandula Strings
When you book Lavandula Strings, we want you to know exactly what comes next. Here is our full process, from securing your date to the moment you walk down the aisle, so nothing about working with us is a surprise.

Step 1: Secure your Date
Your date is officially on our calendar once we have received your signed contract and 30% deposit. From there, you will get a welcome message with all of the information you need to know, and we will start planning together.
Step 2: Getting Started
Two short forms help us tailor everything to your day.
Both are due no later than one month before your wedding:
Wedding Day Details & Schedule Form: your timeline, venue details and day-of contacts
Song Selections Form: the music for each moment of your day
Not sure what songs to pick? Browse our 1,000+ song Lavandula Strings Song Library for inspiration. If there is something you love that is not on the list, just ask.
Step 3: Your Planning Timeline
Every booking includes three planning meetings.
Within 1 month of booking: Optional welcome meeting. A chance to connect, go over your Wedding Details Form, and answer any early questions. No pressure. We are here whenever you need us.
3 months before your wedding: Planning meeting. We will check in on your vision and refine your song selections. If you have a planner or day-of coordinator, this is a great time to pass along our contact information so they can keep us in the loop. If your schedule is too hectic for a call, we are happy to continue communicating by email during this time.
1 month before your wedding: Final meeting. We will confirm your day-of timeline, finalize all song
selections, and make sure every detail is in place. At this point:
All song selections are due
Your Wedding Day Details and Song Selections forms are due
Final payment is due by your wedding date
Your Wedding Day
Enjoy your day! We'll make sure everything runs smoothly.
A Note for Outdoor Ceremonies
Our musicians need an approved form of covering from the elements. A large umbrella, a 10x10 canopy, or a spot under an existing awning all work perfectly. Most venues arrange this easily with a little advance notice. We recommend flagging it with your coordinator, and we will remind you again at our final meeting.
