What to Expect From Your Wedding String Musicians on the Day
We want your wedding day to feel completely seamless, and part of that is knowing what to expect from us.
Here is a simple walkthrough of how the day unfolds from our side, so you can relax and enjoy every moment.

Arrival Onsite
We arrive one hour early. Our musicians get to the venue one hour before the prelude begins. We arrive dressed in all black and change into our performance attire on-site, in a greenroom or another available space. Since guests have not arrived yet, this never disrupts the flow of your day.
We check in with your planner. Our first stop is always your planner or day-of coordinator. We confirm there are no last-minute changes to the timeline and go over all music cues together, so everyone is on the same page before guests arrive.
During the Ceremony
Your planner gives the cues. Throughout the ceremony, your planner or coordinator tells us when to start and transition between musical moments: prelude, processional, any interludes, and recessional. You do not need to worry about a thing. Just be present.
This is why we love connecting with your planner early. The smoother our communication, the more effortless everything feels on the day.
Moving to Cocktail Hour
A seamless move. For the smoothest transition, we ask that the cocktail hour space is fully set up before the ceremony begins, including any cover for our musicians if you are outdoors. That lets us go directly from one space to the other without delays.
If cocktail hour is close by, our musicians simply walk over with their instruments and begin playing shortly after. If the spaces are farther apart, we may need a few minutes to pack up and set up again, but we always aim to get the music going as quickly as possible.
End of Service
A quiet exit. When our performance is complete, our musicians pack up and leave the venue independently. By this point you and your planner are usually busy with photos or guests, so there is no need for goodbyes unless you would like them.
